gone far too long....

my dearest family and friends! I APOLOGIZE sincerely for not updating you in quite a while....

now...hmmmm....where to begin....

I last posted in January! Wow! OHHH MY GAHHH, how time flies!

Ok, since January, I turned 3, learned to ride a bike, went on several vacations, grew TALLER, got sassier ;) and finished up my first semester at preschool! Oh, and found a new love for Hannah Montanna, and singing...

Mommy and Daddy are good...working, schooling...you know the normal "adult stuff"

ok...so let me begin with turning 3! I had a DORA birthday party, because, well, Dora is so fabulous!

Ok, I digress....let me tell you, well update you on life as a 3 year old! I'm very well spoken....it may take me a little time to warm up, but boy once I do...I could talk for hours! Also, my parents says I'm becomming a very strategic thinker...asking lots of questions...you know...needing to know all the answers.

I'm very into reading! I love love LOVE books! The bookshelf in my room is huge...and piled with tons of books! Nothing is better than a rainy day with stacks of books to read!

I also love photography....I know, I know.."seriously, she's 3?" But honestly, if you could see me with a camara (ask my Gammy and PawPaw too!), you would probably be amazed! I really enjoy taking pictures...and not just your average "say cheese, this is gonna be cute" picture...I'm talking: flowers, animals, nature, people, just random things...I love it...I'll post some to show you later.. Maybe this talent is like one of those hidden talents where I could be like, I don't know, AMAZING at it!? Ha! For now, it's just fun...

For those of you who haven't gotten one of my beautifully painted pieces of artwork (no exaggeration, *smiles*), not to worry...Mommy and Daddy have tons to share! I'm loving painting lately! I'm talking, construction paper, an easel of like 9 paints, 13 paint brushes (yes, this is serious) - I just love making colorful things...

I've been spending the summer at the pool soaking in the Vitamin D (hello sunshine!!) every single day, getting in some play time with my friends and family and doing all the things I love (like eating chocolate icecream EVERY SINGLE DAY! *smiles bigger*)

wow....its been a while!

Hey Friends and Family! It's been far too long I know, but trust me I have been sooo busy lately! Let's see....first I will update you on my birthday... So as you know I turned the big 3! Hard to believe, isn't it!? I had a really fun Dora party (because I'm a huge Dora fan, and insisted that my mother buy everything Dora)! It was fun to hang with my friends and family! I missed the rest of my family that were unable to make it. Mommy and Daddy made sure that my birthday was extra special...as they always do!

Ok, so enough about my super fabulous party! Ok in March, Mommy and Daddy and I went on a little vacation to the beach...we needed some rest and relaxation! It was so nice and perfect weather! It was still a little too chilly for swimming but our hotel had really nice indoor heated pools and lazy rivers! So much fun!

I’m a DANCER!

I started dance classes last Friday! The class I’m in is called Creative Movement! It’s for 3 to 5 year olds! I absolutely love it!! I have been learning how to do ballet twirls, ballet walks, and much much more! I will keep you posted on how it goes!

Helping the Kids in Haiti

Mommy and I made special Hygiene Kits to help children in Haiti who lost their homes and families because of the earthquake…

My First Dentist Trip!

I went to the dentist for the first time in early January! I did fine until the dental hygienist wanted to clean my teeth, I got a little scared! But after that, I was so excited to have such shiny teeth! My dentist, Dr. Mike, was super nice and very kid-friendly – which made the experience sooo much better!

MY NEW SCHOOL!

Guess what!! I started a new school! I go on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 until 1 and I absolutely have been loving it!! I learn Spanish, get to go to an arts center for painting, and learn about new things! It’s so much fun!

I Had A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

 

Here are some of my new Christmas things – I had such a wonderful Christmas at home with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Heather & Glenn, Nanny, Gammy & PawPaw! I got way too many presents and ate too much food – but it was fun!! Santa came to my house, ate all the cookies I left out for him, took the carrots for his reindeer, drank most of the milk, and there was some snow left on the floor near the chimney where he came down!! I couldn’t believe it! Overall, it was just magical! What a wonderful time!

Mommy took me to go see the new movie "Princess and the Frog"! I wanted to dress up like a princess to go see it so I wore this!! The movie was soooooo cute!! I highly recommend it!!

Santa Clause is Coming to Town!!

Santa Clause came to visit all the children in my neighborhood!! I was a little scared of him because of his big white hairy beard and white gloves! I did ask him for a computer and gum!


He was really nice and friendly just as I suspected!



He even brought special goodies for all the kids!!

Hi family and friends! Here I am out to dinner with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Heather, and Glenn. As you can see, I still enjoy posing for the camara!

I take Sammy on walks often when it is nice outside! He’s just my size and loves going walking with me!

Halloween Fun!

For Halloween I was Thumbalina Barbie! I had sooo much fun out trick or treating!! We started the day by going to the Fall Fest at our Community Center! Aunt Heather, PawPaw, Gammy, Mommy and Daddy all came too! I rode horses, ate hotdogs and candy apples, and got to jump in Gigantic Inflatables! It was sooo much fun!! I especially loved riding horses! After that we went back home and had a big taco dinner with our neighbors. The neighbors across the street came over with their two kids, Gracie (2) and Caleb (3) and we had soft tacos, dips, enchiladas, hard tacos – IT WAS YUMMY! Later my friend Sophie (2) and her Mommy, Daddy and PawPaw came over to join us! We all went trick or treating together! Mommy had all of us dress up! Mommy was a flower with bees on her head, Aunt Heather was a bumble bee, Gammy & PawPaw were Prom Queen and King, and Daddy was a Notre Dame fan, Dixie (our dog) was a witch with green hair and Sammy was a little devil! Our neighbors dressed up too! It was fun! Around 6:30 we headed out to start the trick or treating!! You better believe I was sooo excited to get some candy!! I ate so many M&Ms along the way! Overall the night was soooooo much fun!! Now I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving!!
