My Play Date

Saturday I had my very first date, Play Date that is! I met my new friend, Ethan. Mommy and Daddy watched the Notre Dame game with his parents A.  and S. while Ethan and I played together. He is such a cutie.

Rocking Chair

My new rocking chair is quite comfy. And ofcourse Mommy got camara crazy!

I am going to the beach with Mommy and Daddy this weekend for their anniversary (aren't kids not supposed to go on this kind of trips?) anyways Mommy and Daddy are celebrating it with me and I can't wait!

Hey Good Lookin'

I make crawling look good.

(I just got to figure out how to move my arms with my legs so I can get somewhere!)

WATER!!

Give me some water and bath toy and I am the happiest girl in the world! I can actually sit up in the tub now, so Mommy and Daddy let me splash around and play! I absolutely LOVE IT!!

Crawling....almost

Here I am practicing my "soon to be crawling", except for now I have been scooting backwards instead of forwards, hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon!

Chicago!

Check me out on the plane ride to Philadelphia then to Chicago! I have to say I enjoy flying! During my 4 hour flight I napped, read books, played with random things I could get my hands on.

Chicago was really nice, Mommy worked too much, luckily Aunt Heather played with me and took me for walks around the really nice park across the street.

6 Month Check-up!

I had my 6 MONTH check up this morning!! Dr. Sumner says I am super duper healthy,
and growing just fine! He says now I weigh 17 lbs 12 ozs, and I'm 25.5 inches long!! I was showing off to the doctor hoping he would forget about the shots!!

HOW MANY SHOTS DOC? 3!! You gotta be jokin!!

Finally Friday!

Here I am ready for the weekend!! I went to bed at 8:30 last night and didn't get up until 8:30 this morning!! So I am wide open today!! Mommy and Daddy are working in the yard this weekend and I'll be hanging out inside where it's cool. Mommy and I are being lazy at work today because it's Friday!!!

As you can see I am learning early where Daddy's money is, now if I could only get it out of here!

I slept really good last night, no flipping around so Mommy and Daddy didn't have to come check on me a whole bunch.

How I spend my day

I start my day around 7:00am with oatmeal and mixed fruit and a bottle ofcourse. Then I play with my toys in the floor for a little bit. After that I'm off to work with Mommy. During the 45 minute car ride I usually nap and listen to my c.d.'s. When we get to work I usually play with toys and books then eat again at 10:00am. Then nap time for me! I wake up and have some tummy time then Mommy puts me in my swing for a little while. (I really like helping Mommy when she has a lot of papers all over her desk, I clear them off for her!) Then I eat again at 1:00pm and watch Baby Einstein. Mommy and I leave work at 3:00pm and run any errands then head on home to play with the puppies. Then, I watch cartoons while Mommy does a few things around the house (she really keeps everything spic-n-span for me)! Then we play again and Mommy reads me books because she knows how much I love them! Then at 4:00pm I eat again and this time I usually have one of my favorites, squash or carrots, (or something else because Mommy and Daddy want me to be healthy). Then I'm off to play with Daddy while Mommy gets some time for herself. Daddy makes me laugh a lot and gives me lots of tummy time for my neck muscles. Then I'm off to take a bath at 7:30pm, this is my favorite!!! After bath, Mommy lotions me up and keeps me well groomed. Then Daddy feeds me again to load me up for the night. I'm off to sleepy town at 8:30pm. Most importantly, I get lots of diaper changes so I stay comfortable and fresh all day long!

Being 6 months old now is a lot of work. I am about to have a tooth come in any day now so I am a little cranky today. Mommy is trying really hard to get me to eat some fruits but I don't like the taste of them. We are going to the pool today to cool off since it is 102 degrees here!
