4!! YEARS!! OLD!!

Rylee officially turns 4 years old tomorrow! ~(this is her official last picture as a 3 year old)~

But we had an early Birthday Party since my birthday falls in the middle of the week! I requested that Princess Belle attend my party! And what a magical time it was! This wasn't just your "come have cake and watch me open my presents party" - this was THE event~ Princess Belle came and she sang, she danced, she let the girls play musical instruments, she played games with us, she let them twirl fancy streamers, she sang Happy Birthday to Rylee and crowned me with my very own little special princess crown!

Belle arrives at the party....all eyes are on her...I'm up front and center to catch all the excitement!

All my friends came and joined in on the fun!

Blowing out the candles on my beautiful Princess cake (topped with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle) ~Ofcourse it was chocalate with extra frosting!!!

The magical moment...when Belle gives me my crown and has a special dance with me!
With her sweet voice, fantastic personality and enthusiasm - it was truly an enchanted party!

Here is a little video from the party of Belle singing to us girls!

Happy Birthday to our beautiful Princess, Rylee! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!

broken foot

I'm sure the title of this blog has you a little worried...

Let me paint the picture for you..we were out for our afternoon dog walk on a "soon to be snowy day" - Daddy had Dixie, I had Sammy, and Mommy, well she was walking for two. So anyway, we're off...all of a sudden, Daddy steps off the side walk right at a storm drain and we thought he had just twisted his ankle slighty...I mean for heaven's sake..there wasn't even any snow on the ground! But poor Daddy fell to his knees in pain yelping "Oh NO, it's broken". Poor Mommy and I didn't know what to do - so we took off running *side note: Baby Mackey was probably very shaken up at this point* and we got the car to go back to get Daddy. When we returned he was layed over in the grass holding his foot...poor Daddy.
So we get home, and with no experience with broken bones, Mommy and Daddy frantically called around some places to see where we were supposed to take Daddy (who at this point couldn't stand on his foot) *Another side note: it began pouring snow*
So we finally figure out to take Daddy to the Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Clinic After Hours Urgent Care....we expected a full out waiting room but to our surprise we got right in! Daddy had indeed cracked a bone in his foot - and for a 3 year old seeing Daddy's bones of his foot on a computer screen was quite amazing....
So they bandaged Daddy's poor foot up with a walking boot and gave him some crutches..*Now, it was snowing pretty heavily*
We got home, doctored up Daddy and I wrapped his foot with every baby blanket I could find in my room. You know, the easiest way to heal a broken foot is to wrap the foot in like 14 blankets. ;) - so I thought....
Daddy's foot is healing...for now it has a really cool greenish/yellow bruise on it...and to think this wasn't even weather related...

I had a Very Merry Christmas...and loved the snow!

I didn't want to overwhelm you with our many hundreds of Christmas pictures...
so I chose one that showed my excitement before Santa's arrival!
Well...we had a wonderful Christmas...hope you did too! We had 3 days of gifts and food! It was wonderful! I got everything I asked for....and then some...

Our new baby that is due in May is growing quickly! Mommy is 20 weeks now! She's doing well and her appetite is starting to pick up.

Daddy doesn't have to go back to work until Monday Jan. 3! It has been wonderful having him home everyday since Dec. 23! Daddy is so much fun to play with...I've even had him playing Barbies lately!

and then for the snow...WOW!! SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS!! How exciting!

We played, we built snowmen, we made snow angels, we sledded, we ate snow, we rolled around in snow, we threw snow balls, we dug holes, I mean it was SNOW SNOW SNOW!

until next time...HUGS!

time to catch up...

Greetings...it has been too long...but welcome back to my blog

Ok, so....lots and lots has been happening since we last were online...

halloween - the overloading of candy=amazing!! I was a pirate this year. had a blast. trick or treated twice! got a lot of wear out of my costume!
Mommy took me and my friend Sophi to the Zoo Boo Bash at the Natural Science Center ~ it was loads of fun ~ we got to play games, see the monkeys eat pumpkin pie, see a laser show, and pet snakes...quite scary but amazing. Then Daddy took me trick or treating Saturday night in my friend Sophi's neighborhood. Then Mommy, Daddy, and some friends went trick or treating in our neighborhood Sunday night...let me say I got waaaaaaaaay too much candy....and no I didn't eat it all....(would I if I could? you bet)

I've been spending some of my days after school, hanging with this girl...SoPhI..she's so fun...her parents are wonderful too...i love them...

Mommy and I spend Thursdays, *ahem, "Girl's Day"*, doing fun things...since the weather has been so nice, we've been going to the park lately...we go out for delicious lunches and then stroll through the park...it couldn't be more perfect...

Now I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving...the day I say that we "kiss and hug our family"
And yes I've been preparing for Christmas...just the other day, Mommy and Daddy and Me put out our Christmas decorations in the house...too early? NEVER! We love the spirit of Christmas and the house is so magically cozy with lighted wreaths and Christmas trees...

Now, for exciting news, I'm going to be a BIG SISTER! yes, it's true...our family is expanding and we will have a new addition to our family in May...I'm so excited...do I have any preference? well, I change my mind daily...truth be told, I'd be happy either way :)

well wishes and happpppppy thanksgiving for now....I promise to be back soon (winks)

fAiR fUn!

Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Heather and I went to the Fair Tuesday night!! It was sooo much fun! As you can imagine, we rode lots of rides...well, I rode lots of rides! We played games, and ate corn dogs! Seriously folks, it was fun! And to my surprise, they had lots of rides for kids!

Daddy enjoyed the Dumbo elephants ride too

I loved our little family time at the fair!

to the airport...

My sweet Aunt Nancy left for Texas today...so we met her, PawPaw Sam, and Cousins Jenny and Taylor at the PTI airport!

We had lunch out at McCalister's Deli...which is oh so yummy!

Mommy with my cute little cousin Taylor, who was sad that she had to go..I was sad too...I love spending time with her..

Taylor's mommy, Jenny, bought us special Little Pony coloring pads at the airport...we had such a fun time coloring in them...

I love family time!

our lovely environment...

I love to explore different things outside...bugs, spiders, flowers, birds, etc..etc... I just love outdoorsy things.. :)

This is our pet spider...yes I said pet...evidently, Doug, yes I know, this is getting weirder by the minute...But anyway, our pet spider, Doug, has been living outside the corner of our garage for about 2 weeks now. He works so hard to build his perfectly round web each night in the same spot. Mommy has wanted to "destroy" Doug for many nights now, but Daddy says "we can't just get rid of Doug, he takes care of the mosquitos that fly around"....again...this is sounding weird...then what's even weirder...Mommy and Daddy took a picture of Doug and his web (see above)...but it does show how amazing mother nature and her little creatures are...how a spider, eh-em, I mean Doug, can do such spectacular work is just astounding!

Check out these beautiful flowers we picked from our flower garden out front! We absolutely love looking at them!

This is a little praying mantis we found out front, you can't really see here...but he's missing a leg... I think he's so cute...and no, we didn't name him...ha!

Friday the 13th...

For Friday the 13th {insert shrieks and screams here}...Mommy and I thought it would be oodles of fun to paint monster pictures, and play hide and seek in our Halloween costumes....We had soooo much fun scaring each other...and the furry children (also known as our pups) were going bizerk! Here are some of our pictures we painted...

yeeee-haw!

So, I know what you're thinking: "she just looks so grown up", well yes I am growin' up. (insert your sigh here)
So for Halloween {yes I'm talking Halloween, which is 2 months away}, I am realllllllly wanting to be a cowgirl. So, last time I was staying with my Gammy and PawPaw, Gammy bought me this cowgirl hat. Then I got the boots, then the belt, and well the rest is history! ha! So far, I'm lovin the look!

its DORA!! no, its SOPHI and ME!

This is my best friend Sophi! Many people say she looks like Dora! She is one cute girl! She is 4 months younger than I am! We argue like sisters but we love each other dearly! One of our favorite things to do together is dance!! Check out our moves!!

We started the evening with manicures and pedicures from Mommy...then after we were "all diva'd up", we began bustin a move!

See!? Can't no one do the monkey dance like us!!

And then we jump, jump, jump around, jump up, jump up and get down!

Next comes the clappin and shakin...

then the frog hoppin fiasco!

Sophi givin her best chicken dance...

oh man, I love this girl!! We could play for hours upon hours!! We laugh, we giggle, we cry when the other one has something that the other one wants, ugh, I digress; regardless, isn't this what best friends are for!? Sharing, fighting, and having a blast together!!

Snakes, Tigers, and Taylor...

My cousin, Taylor, and I had a blast at the Natural Science Center!! Just look at all that we saw!!

Taylor and I made sure we didn't miss one thing that day!

Take a look at this little Lemur! He only has 1 arm!! Poor little guy! But he didn't seem to mind! He was chowin down on the watermelons provided by the Science Center!

AWWW, is this big floppy rabbit not the absolute cutest thing you have ever seen?! And his fur! Oh my, how soft!! Sooo adorable!

YIKESS!! Yes ladies and gentlemen, your eyes are not playing tricks, this is indeed a real snake!! But he was super friendly! I pet him and so did my mommy. Taylor, like most girls are terrified of snakes. She did put one finger on it, kudos my dear cousin!! His skin felt soo smooth!! Do you think my mommy will let me have one of these?? I'll have to find the perfect time to ask....wink wink!

My cutie pa-tootie cousin Taylor, her mommy, me and my mommy went to the Natural Science Center http://www.natsci.org/ last Wednesday! Boy, was it oodles of fun! It was Watermelon day! So cute! All of the animals, (yes all) tigers, horses, birds, goats, sheep, monkeys, lemurs and wolves were eating watermelon. Even Taylor and I had some, it was oh so delish!! We got some on our shirts but our mommy's didn't care! It was hot as...well something that is really really really hot, outside! We were sweatin like little stuffed pigs!

Both of us were interested in much more than the camara...so much to see!
